The Pros of my stay at this accommodation were truly incredible. I have to mention the breathtaking sea views from the terrace. It felt like being in a postcard, with the waves crashing against the shore, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It was as if the world paused for a moment to appreciate the beauty of nature.

I had a fantastic stay at Gecko De Tortuguero Bed & Breakfast. The staff, although not fluent in English, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, as it was just a short walk to the beach. Despite being in a quiet area, I was able to enjoy the sound of the ocean as I slept. One of the highlights of my stay was the opportunity to see sloths on the grounds of the property. Additionally, the turtle tour provided by the hostel was enjoyable. I was so pleased with my experience that I decided to extend my stay.

We stayed in a spacious room with a slight moldy smell, located right next to the lush jungle wildlife. The owner, fluent in multiple languages, welcomed us with a drink and gave us helpful information about the area. The property was just a minute's walk from the beautiful Caribbean beach, where you could hear the soothing sounds of the ocean as you slept. There were also plenty of hammocks to relax in and a nature trail nearby.

The check-in/check-out process was confusing at times, and there were occasional communication issues with the staff.

The hostel had a clean and modern vibe with free coffee all day. They had guide books and games available, and it was very close to the beach and the jaguar trail. the host, despite not speaking English, was friendly and helpful. the breakfast service was accommodating, even for early morning tours.

I really got my money's worth at this place. The room was clean, cozy, and had a nice beach vibe. The location was great, right by the beach and away from the hustle and bustle. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even though there was a language barrier.

The breakfast selection could be improved, maybe adding some more variety to the menu.

I even arrived back late from a morning canoe tour, but the smiley and helpful host still served me breakfast – talk about stellar service. This place was perfect for me, with the beach, the monkeys in the garden, and the national park right there. Roberto took great care of me, and the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff surpassed my expectations. my stay was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much!
